Coaches
Coach Jenn brings more than 20 years of volleyball coaching experience and a passion for developing athletes both on and off the court. She began her coaching career at the nationally recognized Sports Performance Volleyball Club in Aurora, Illinois, where she gained valuable experience working with athletes in a highly competitive environment. Throughout her coaching career, Coach Jenn has worked with players across multiple age groups and skill levels, emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, and a strong work ethic. Currently on the coaching staff at Wren High School, helping guide the program through one of the most successful stretches in its history, including five consecutive Region Championships, three Upper State Championships, and two South Carolina State Championships, as well as back to back Region Coach of the Year honors. Coach Jenn believes volleyball is about more than just winning matches—it's an opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong values. She is passionate about helping athletes grow as competitors while developing the character and sportsmanship that will serve them as great teammates and strong leaders.
Jen Johnson
Coach Cate has been playing volleyball competitively since the age of 9, developing her skills and passion for the game over the years. She played in the Chicago area for a club called Sports Performance that focused on her ball control and made her into the player she was. She played as an outside hitter at Clemson University on scholarship from 2020 to 2023, playing in all six rotations with specific experience in hitting, blocking, passing, defense, and overall game strategy.
